How Your Appointment Works
1. Consultation. We start by asking what result you want — natural, fuller, or bold — not which technique you'd like. First-time clients fill out a Service Agreement covering health details and allergies.
2. Design. We never start until you and your artist picture the same result. We use a visual catalog of volumes, curls, lengths and effects so you can see the look before we begin — and your artist can hold a few lashes up to your eye to confirm the length. If you're unsure, your artist chooses for you based on your eye shape, lid position, lash growth direction and density.
3. Preparation. The chair reclines, lower lashes are isolated with patches, and your natural lashes are cleansed and degreased. This step directly affects adhesive bond and how long your set lasts.
4. Application. Your artist works lash by lash using a safe technique, checking direction, symmetry and balance throughout.
5. Final check. We check for stickies (lashes glued together), confirm symmetry, and show you the finished result.
6. Aftercare. We explain how to care for your lashes and when to come back for a fill or a new set — and answer anything you're still wondering about.

Classic Set
one extension per natural lash. The most natural result: your lashes look longer and neater, like your own but better. Ideal for a first appointment.
Hybrid Set

2–3D Volume
a fan of 2–3 ultra-fine lashes per natural lash. Noticeably fuller, fluffier and more expressive — when you want lashes to be the focus without going dramatic.

not a volume, a styling technique. Longer textured spikes are added over your chosen volume for an airier, modern finish. It can be done on almost any volume.

Lash Lift & Korean Lash Lift
We offer both classic lash lift and Korean Lash Lift.
The Korean technique works especially well on straight, dense, stiff or downward-growing lashes — the ones a classic lift struggles to hold. Its specialized paste achieves a more defined lift right from the root, even in difficult cases.
A Korean lash lift also doesn't force one fixed curl: the curl shape is chosen individually based on your natural lashes, the structure of your eyes, and the result you want.
We offer both because there's no universal solution. Your artist assesses the condition, length, density and growth direction of your natural lashes, listens to what you want, and only then recommends a classic or Korean lift.

Brows — Lamination, Shaping & Tinting
Brows are their own craft, and ours are done by Nicole, our brow and lash lift specialist with 5 years of experience.
Eyebrow Lamination — $70, about 40 minutes. Smooths and sets your brow hairs into a fuller, groomed shape that holds for 4–6 weeks. Especially good for brows that grow in different directions, have gaps that better direction can cover, or simply never stay where you brush them.
Eyebrow Shaping — $25, about 20 minutes. Your brows shaped to suit your face — not a fixed template.
Eyebrow Tinting — $25, about 20 minutes. Adds depth and definition, and makes sparse or light brows read fuller without makeup.
Lamination, shaping and tinting are often done together in one appointment. If your brows are dense or difficult — growing in different directions or strongly curled — the appointment may take an extra 20–30 minutes.
Our Materials
We work primarily with materials from our own professional brand, produced in South Korea specifically for LashCouture NY, alongside select materials from other trusted South Korean brands. Over the years we've tested a wide range of professional products and kept the ones that perform best on quality, comfort and retention.
Lashes. Soft and very light. Your artist selects the thickness for your chosen volume to create the density you want without overloading your natural lashes.
Adhesive. Chosen for your individual case and the retention you're after. Most clients get our high-retention professional adhesive; for sensitive eyes we can offer a gentler formula.
An honest note on "hypoallergenic." No lash adhesive is fully hypoallergenic. Even the gentlest formula can't rule out an individual allergic reaction 100%, and gentler adhesives typically hold for less time than standard ones. Retention also depends on your artist's technique, your natural lashes, and your home care — not just the brand.

A 2-week fill is $20 less than a 3-week fill, and a fill usually takes about 30 minutes less than a new full set.
If your natural lashes or brows are dense or difficult — growing in different directions or strongly curled — your appointment may take an extra 20–30 minutes.
What Counts and Why 3 Weeks
It's a fill if: it's been no more than 3 weeks since your last visit, and at least 40% of your extensions are still in place.
Why the 3-week cutoff. Before three weeks, your natural lashes haven't all completed their renewal cycle yet, so grown-out extensions can be removed cleanly and replaced with new ones. After three weeks, the design has lost its shape — a fill can no longer be done well, it won't look as neat, and it won't last as long.
If more than 3 weeks have passed, or less than 40% of your lashes remain, it's a new full set.
How Long It Lasts & Aftercare
Lash extensions last 4–7 weeks. A lash lift lasts 4–6 weeks. How long depends on your lifestyle, your individual lash renewal cycle, and your home care. Intense sports, swimming, tanning beds, saunas and steam rooms, cosmetics, sleeping face-down in your pillow, and rich oil-based creams all shorten wear.
First 24 hours: don't get your lashes wet.
After that:

Wash your face gently — no strong stream of water directly on your lashes, and don't rub your eyes. Pat dry with a towel.

Cleanse regularly with a lash shampoo to remove makeup, sebum and dust. Clean lashes last longer.

Brush with a spoolie once they're fully dry, as needed. Never brush wet lashes.

Avoid oil-based products around the eyes.

Try not to sleep face-down — constant pressure shortens wear and changes lash shape.

Skip waterproof liner, pencil and mascara. Removing them takes rubbing or oil-based removers, both of which cut retention.

Sauna, steam rooms and tanning aren't forbidden, but frequent heat and steam will shorten wear.
When We Say No — and Why
Your health and safety matter more to us than performing the service.
We may decline if your natural lashes are missing or badly damaged, if there's inflammation or an infection around the eyes, or if you have a pronounced allergic reaction.
We may recommend a lighter volume if your natural lashes are thin or weakened, so we don't overload them.
We may recommend a different service. If you want the most natural effect and your own lashes are long and beautiful but grow straight or point downward, a lash lift is often the better answer than extensions.
Pregnancy isn't a contraindication in itself. Hormonal changes can affect retention, and if you're more sensitive than usual, let us know in advance.
Clean & Safe
Each artist keeps several separate tool sets, so every client gets a freshly prepared set while the rest go through a full processing cycle. We sterilize enough sets in advance to cover the whole day.
After use, tools are fully submerged in a disinfectant solution, rinsed after the required soak time, dried thoroughly, and sealed in sterilization pouches. They're then sterilized at high temperature in a dry-heat cabinet, stored sealed, and opened in front of you right before your appointment.
Before each client, your artist washes and sanitizes their hands, and a fresh disposable sheet is laid on the bed and discarded afterward. All disposable supplies — patches, micro-brushes, applicators — are used once and never reused. Your individual lash brush is yours to take home.
If anything stings or feels uncomfortable during your appointment, tell your artist immediately. They'll check the patch placement, make sure your eyes are fully closed, remove the cause, and stop the procedure if needed.
First time and nervous? We explain every step before we start. The whole appointment is done with your eyes closed, and it shouldn't hurt.
Before Your Appointment

Skip the coffee and other high-caffeine drinks right before your appointment. Caffeine can make your eyelids twitch, which makes the work harder and the appointment longer.

Already have extensions from another salon? Tell us when you book so we can leave extra time to remove them safely.

Don't try to remove old extensions yourself — it damages your natural lashes and makes the next set harder to do well.

Ever had a reaction to lash adhesive, or worried you might? Tell us before booking and we'll arrange a patch test: your artist applies a few lashes and you watch for a reaction over 24 hours. No reaction means you can book the full appointment safely.

Fixing Work From Other Salons
Many of our clients come to us after a disappointing experience elsewhere. The most common problems: natural lashes damaged by improper application, stickies between natural lashes, volumes too heavy for weak lashes, uneven work, discomfort during wear, and poor retention.
Stickies. Clients often arrive with many natural lashes glued together, so lashes pull on each other and get yanked out as they grow. We remove the old set carefully, assess the condition of the natural lashes, and only then choose a safe volume.
Pre-made strip clusters. We also see clusters not intended for professional lash work, glued with professional adhesive across several natural lashes at once. As the natural lashes grow, this creates constant tension — lashes that feel like they're pulling or prickling — and inevitably damages your own lashes.
Our 5-day guarantee. We stand behind our work: if a problem related to the quality of our work appears within five days, we fix it free. Why five days? Workmanship issues show up in the first few days. After that, retention is driven by your natural lash cycle, home care, and individual and hormonal factors that no one can control — so our guarantee covers our work, not natural processes.
Booking, Deposits and Cancellation
Deposit. If you book by phone, messenger or social media, we ask for a $30 deposit — payable by Zelle, Venmo, cash, or card at the studio.
Cancellation. Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead and your deposit is fully refunded or moved to your new appointment. Cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or don't show, and the deposit is kept.
Booking online. If you book yourself through our online system, no deposit is charged upfront — you link a card, and a $50 fee applies for cancellations under 24 hours or no-shows.
Running late. We do our best to see everyone, but we also protect the next client's time. If you're more than 15 minutes late, your artist may do a fill instead of a new full set, complete as much as time allows, or — if you're significantly late — decline the appointment, in which case standard cancellation rules apply.
Same-day appointments are often available when we have an opening.

How long do lash extensions last? Extensions last 4–7 weeks and a lash lift lasts 4–6 weeks. It depends on your lifestyle, your individual lash renewal cycle, and your home care. Come in for a fill within 3 weeks to keep the set full.

Do you require a deposit? Yes — a $30 deposit for bookings by phone, messenger or social media, refunded or moved if you cancel at least 24 hours ahead. Online self-bookings link a card instead, with a $50 fee for late cancellations or no-shows.
What's the aftercare? Keep lashes dry for the first 24 hours. After that, wash gently without rubbing, cleanse regularly with lash shampoo, brush only when fully dry, avoid oil-based products around the eyes and waterproof makeup, and try not to sleep face-down.

Do lash extensions damage your natural lashes? Not when they're applied correctly with the right weight for your lashes. Damage comes from volumes that are too heavy, stickies, and improper application — which is exactly what we most often fix for clients coming from other salons.
Do I need an allergy test? If you've ever had an allergic reaction to lash extensions or have any concerns, tell us before booking and we'll do a patch test: a few lashes applied, then 24 hours of watching for a reaction. If you've never reacted and have no concerns, we can go ahead without one.
Can I get lashes done while pregnant? Yes — pregnancy isn't a contraindication. Hormonal changes can affect how long your set lasts, and if you're more sensitive than usual, let us know in advance.
