FAQ

Q) What should I do before my procedure?

  • Avoid curling your natural lashes, and do not use any lotion or oil based cream. Remove make up prior to your appointment.

  • Do not apply face creams or sunblock in the eye area. The oil found in many moisturizers prevents eyelash adhesive from bonding to the natural eyelash and reduces the longevity of your eyelash extensions.

  • Do not put on mascara. Removing mascara can be very time-consuming and any residual makeup will prevent proper application of the extensions.

Q) How do I take care of my lash extensions?

  • Avoid getting your eyelash extensions wet for the first 6 hours. We recommend keeping the eyelash extensions dry for the first 24 hours.

  • Avoid going to places with extreme heat, steam room, and swimming for the first 48 hours

  • Do not rub your eyes too hard

  • Do not use oil based cleaner, lotion, or make up remover

  • Use a small Q-tip to remove eyeliner

  • Do not wear mascara

  • Do not curl the eyelash extensions

Q) How do you remove eyelash extensions?

Removals are done at the salon by the lash technician.

Do not attempt to remove the lash extensions yourself, it is best to schedule an appointment to have them professionally removed with a special removing solvent.

You may also wait for your natural lash cycle to complete and have the extensions fall off naturally.

Q) How often should I get touch-ups?

As your natural lashes fall out due to the growth cycle, you will need retouch when the new lashes grow. At first you may need a retouch every 2 weeks. As you become accustomed to the extensions, the time between retouches can be extended to 3 weeks.
